Over the month of May, a team of Veteran Networks, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and Veteran Nonprofits working in media and entertainment companies invite you to join them in writing letters of appreciation to our military members and their families.

The sessions will feature a Military Guest Speaker (a Soldier, Sailor, Airmen, and Coastie, Cadet, and family members whose spouses are deployed) who are on the frontlines.

Why Join?

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn first-hand about the wide range of missions in the military. The goal is to inspire you to write letters (electronic or hand-written) to the soldiers, sailors, airmen, coasties, cadets, and family members of the US military units serving stateside and around the world.

Learn what life is like for the military members who are part of these missions:

  • 10,000 Vaccinations a Day and Counting - since January, a Military Joint Task Force have vaccinated a half-million New Yorkers

  • Welcome Aboard a Polar Icebreaker - the Coast Guard ship Healy goes to the Arctic for science and rescue work

  • We Go Anywhere - the many missions of the Army 82nd Combat Aviation in the Middle East

  • We Wait...and Wait..and Wait - discover the challenges families face when their loved ones are deployed multiple times and many of them are dangerous missions

  • The Old Guard at Arlington - the impact of COVID on the solitude of a family funeral and while Guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

  • Surviving Untamed Alaska - the most dangerous rescue missions of an elite Air Force Pararescue Team

  • Literally Living 500 Feet Underwater - life in the dark on a Navy Nuclear Submarine

  • Choosing a Life of Service - Inside the Extremely Disciplined Life of West Point Cadets
