CLASSES, ROUNDTABLES, WORKSHOPS
VME’s Events and Education Program organizes over fifty classes, workshops and Guest Speaking events per year. The goal is to equip veterans with the knowledge they need to successfully join the entrainment workforce or keep up with their professional development.
VME’s classes and workshops range in size from ten-seat roundtables with top-level executives to forty-seat classes with union professionals about a wide variety of topics, including: Directing, Producing, Screenwriting, Acting, Resume Writing, Entertainment Law and dozens of other specialties.
VME held over 50 classes and roundtables last year, featuring experienced entertainment creatives and executives to meet and discuss their craft or a specific project with a small group of 15 to 20 veterans in an intimate setting. Some past guests include:
